Il drago e (water fountains drinking) l’aquila / the dragon and the hawk
Serenoccia posted a photo:
Two small fountains are embedded in Palazzo della Rovere walls, in Via della Conciliazione. The dragon and the hawk are the heraldic symbols of the Borghese family. The fountains, in fact, were ordered by Pope Paolo V (Camillo Borghese) between 1605 and 1621.
One of the two fountains has the writing "SPA" instead of the hawk, that means "salus per aqua": drink that water, if you are thirsty!
Location: Via della Conciliazione, Vatican City - Rome
Choosing A Pond Liner
A rigid liner for fixed shape or small size, flexible liner otherwise. Toxin free, durable, puncture proof liner has to be chosen. To prevent puncturing of liner afterwards, a layer of damp sand is laid before laying liner.
